Name: Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes)
MSFN Score: 70.83
Grade: Mediocre
Where to Farm?: Heroes Assemble 6-3
MSFN Thoughts: The Winter Soldier is one of my favorite comic book characters. Unfortunately, I’m not quite sure Foxnext planned out his character in Marvel Strike Force too well. He has a cool opener, but he is slow. After that, he doesn’t really do much but shoot his gun. Hopefully he will get a tweak or something at some point to make him usable. At this point, I don’t recommend putting resources into Bucky.

Marvel Character Bio:
A tough young child who spent his entire life on Army bases, James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes proven himself sufficiently strong to battle the role of Captain America’s sidekick during World War 2. The pair fought the Axis powers throughout the Big One until Bucky perished in a scheme orchestrated by the original Baron Zemo.
For several years, Captain America assumed his spouse old, nevertheless the Russians arrived upon Barnes’ body from the sea and transformed the amnesiac to the ideal getting rid of unit. Upon proving difficult to control, the Russians decided to put him in cryo-freeze between missions, giving birth to the legendary Winter Soldier. Eventually Captain America came into contact with this Winter Soldier, recognized his partner, and used a cracked Cosmic Cube to return his friend’s memories.
Ever since then, Bucky has specialized himself to earning up to the atrocities he committed since the Winter season Soldier. He even took up the mantle of Captain America for a time and also stepped in for Nick Fury as “the man on the wall,” keeping an eye out for threats to Earth’s existence.
A natural mma fighter from his earliest time, the Army started out coaching Bucky with similar individuals who change Captain America in a one-person army. Those skills are put to great use when Bucky fights in World War II. After the Russians find him, they build a robotic arm to replace the one he lost when the plane exploded and use mental implants to enhance his lethal abilities.
Bucky owes his fresh appearance to repeated cryo-freezes orchestrated from the Russians. He possesses no super powers and never received a form of the Super Soldier Serum as many assume, but continues to operate at peak human ability.
Winter Soldier also boasts a master familiarity with weaponry and firearms. He has used a variety of guns and knives as well as Captain America’s shield and even alien weaponry.
