Where to Farm?: Phoenix Rising Event
MSFN Thoughts: Phoenix is by far and away the best character in the game. In the past, this title was close with Ultron. However, since the boost to the red star system, and Ultron not currently having any, it pushes other characters past him. Phoenix is part of, in my opinion, the best current meta team in Marvel Strike Force, the X-Men. She also works just as good as a plug and play character. She’s amazing in Arena, Blitz, Dark Dimension, War, and just about any game mode in the game. I recommend upgrading each of her abilities with T4 mats. For newer players, start farming mystic controllers in the background. You’ll want to unlock Phoenix in the Phoenix Rising event as soon as possible.

Marvel Character Bio (Jean Grey):
Jean Grey is actually a mutant who possesses telekinetic skills permitting her to levitate and manipulate residing creatures and inanimate items psionically. The current extent of her powers is not yet known, but it is far greater than it was before her near-death in the space shuttle.
Jean Grey also had telepathic powers permitting her to see thoughts, project her thoughts in to the mind of other individuals, and stun the mind of foes with telepathic “psychological bolts.” Since her revival from her coma-like state, Marvel Girl no longer seems to possess telepathic powers.
Marvel Character Bio (Phoenix):
After Jean and the By-Men conquered scientist Stephen Lang with his fantastic robotic Sentinels on his space station, the heroes escaped to World in the shuttle using a dangerous solar power radiation storm. Dying from radiation poisoning, Jean was saved by the cosmic entity known as the Phoenix Force who created a duplicate body complete with memories and personality, absorbed a portion of her consciousness and cast her into suspended animation in a strange cocoon at the bottom of Jamaica Bay.
For a few months the Phoenix, az assumed itself to get the real Jean and saved the world by healing the M’Kraan Crystal. Mental manipulation by Mastermind caused Phoenix to go insane and become Dark Phoenix. Ultimately, the portion of Jean’s consciousness within Dark Phoenix resurfaced, causing her to commit suicide. This portion of Jean Grey’s consciousness then journeyed to the afterlife to meet a manifestation of Death. Death explained the Phoenix Force to Jean, who now wore a White Phoenix costume, before this portion of her consciousness and residual Phoenix energy was sent to Jean’s original body in the cocoon, where it was rejected, and then to her clone, Madelyne Pryor.
Ultimately, Jean was rescued from her stasis and, together with the other original X-Men, established a whole new group, X-Component. Madelyne Pryor later died in a confrontation with Jean Grey in which Jean absorbed Madelyne’s and Phoenix’s personalities and memories and a spark of the Phoenix energy. While in battle with a Celestial on an alien world, Jean expelled this spark of energy and the personalities she had absorbed but kept faint impressions of their memories.
